Raindrops - A Glimpse

I love a rainy day.  I love the difference between a spring rain, a summer rain and an autumn rain.

Watching the rain fall on Friday I was mesmerized by how each drop made it's own pattern, as if the puddles were vibrating with a sound impossible to hear with the human ear.

Rain - it promotes growth, it nourishes, it cleanses, it refreshes.

Like tears from the sky.

Beautiful words Sherry, you make the rain sound so beautiful, I just wish the sun could shine at the same time as the rain falls :)
Be careful at the gym, start off with something less intense, maybe the treadmill to get you warmed up before doing a workout class.

I love rain, too; mostly summer showers(thus my blog title)- so invigorating! I don't always enjoy winter rain though. It lasts too long!
Happy November!

My granny used to say --when there was a gully washer -- that the angels were doing their wash! I love the rain and love watching it. This time of year is the best in Houston, I think. After a rain, or after a front has blown through -- the air is so clean and the sky is so very blue! Amazing! Great photo and the smiley faces!

I see the happy face too ! So sweet !You beautifully described the glories of rain...
It is a gorgeously sunny Sunday here - the last of the yellow and brown leaves are clinging to the trees as the wind gently rustles the colorful carpets around on the ground. The sky is that perwinkle blue of Autumn with strong white clouds holding their own, here and there...
Life is good as I have seen this beauty today...and shared it with those who matter ! ;)
Love you !

Bless you Sherry, I love your photo too! I remember a time when I was a teenager walking back from my pony on a summers afternoon. As I walked up the hill with my bike, the heavens opened and pounded the road with drops splashing up inches. Soon the water was flowing down the hill and steam started to rise. I was walking in warm rain water. That may not be unusual in some countries but it has only ever happened to me the once x

Well I do love spring rain, summer rain too...but fall rain, not so much. It tears all the beautiful leaves off the trees:>( I'm glad you can enjoy them all though Sherry. I'm just feeling a bit sodden at the moment!

And well done for raising so much for breast cancer this year - a future without any cancer would be a joy to look forward to !

You are so right...the rain IS different from spring and autumn...Spring tends to make me very energetic while the autumn puts me in a thinking, pensive mode.

I love the rain too... it so energises me, while making others feel totally bummed, so interesting... since we don't get much spring rain here, the autumn and winter rains are my solace, after 7 to 8 months of sunny and warm, with an an occasional fog bank, I am thirsting for some rain...
