Daydreaming of Modigliani with Connie Hosvicka

I want to share this wonderful video created by the very talented and inspiring Connie Hosvicka of Dirty Foot Prints Studio.

I watched this yesterday (more than once) and was transformed.  There was much in this that spoke to me on many levels.

I am in awe – of the artistic process, the meaning behind & derived from such creativity and the final result.
And I love the expressions on the faces of Modigliani’s women.

I love Modigliani's art. So different from his contemporaries. I noted that Connie gave her women eyes ... Modig's women and their eyes are -- Different (to say the least). Loved this video -- thanks!

Awesome video! I love what she said about the magic of the art journal. I so much agree with this. Sometimes I think the work in my journal is better then my real art.
Need to share this on facebook.
thanks for sharing.
hugs,
Charlie

This was very moving on so many levels, Sherry. I love Modigliani's work and it was great to learn about him and the art journal process. I respect it so much. It truly is magical, isn't it.

I loved this !!! Art journal Love - I can so relate ! I especially get how sometimes it feels like creativity is moving through you rather than you controlling what is happening as your art journal. This happens to me often and always makes me feel very privileged somehow.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, Beautiful One !

Thanks for bringing this forward, Sherry. I was so happy to "meet" her during the wrecking summer. Often her posts are quirky, it's more rare and fascinating to see the serious side of her art.

Thanks for highlighting this artist - i`ve never heard of Modigliani ;o) I`m more into the pre - raphelites era - however any other inspiration from any artist can plant a seed for yourself in the future !
I`ve watched it twice already and it has a beautiful flow to it - the brush seems to guide her hand - and not the other way - Love it !
