Patti's Paper Quilt of Birthday Love

Remember when I talked about participating in a paper quilt for Patti Digh's birthday? Patti is beginning to assemble the quilt and is still receiving pieces in the mail. If you haven't participated but would like to, please read this post. It will also show you how many pieces Patti has already received in contributions to this wonderful birthday quilt. The above photo is a piece of the photo on Patti's blog which shows what I contributed...my little quilt square is in the top left corner and the card I sent it in is in the bottom right corner.

It's a good feeling to be even a small part of something created with so much love!

Hi My Friend !
My birthday love quilt square is in the same row as yours ! It is the green one three squares to the right of yours in this shot. In the package for the Birthday Chick were some funky birthday cake candles I found that burn with different colored flames (Celebrate what you want more of, right ?) I also included a couple of bags of Rock My World rocks from the Rock Fairy (Patti actually requested those which was a thrill !). I can't wait to see how the quilt comes together. It is awesome to be a little piece of all that gorgeous LOVE !
So glad we are in there together too! Makes it even more special to me somehow...
Happy Thursday, beautiful One !

This is wonderful. I really like your addition to the project. I meant to do this before but got all caught up in other things. I'm off to the mailbox right now.
