I've been dreaming of the beach -- while awake -- for weeks now. I have this urge, this need to see the ocean, put my feet into the froth and foam, to smell the salty air, to walk the sandy miles, to listen to the tides, to wake with my coffee and watch the water to watch the sun sink into the water. I'm inclining more and more towards doing something about that "urge".When I saw this bathroom photograph in "Country Living" I could see myself in that tub...a little bit of bliss!!! What's filling your "urge" for bliss these days?

swimming ! I have been lucky enough to get to the ocean, but the water up here is cold ! And I went for the waves, the walking, the toe-dipping and the rocks, but not the whole body swimming that I am craving. When I was a kid, I used to spend the whole day in the water at the cottage, playing like a porpoise and feeling free, and smooth and powerful...
Going to try and re-capture a little bit today - swimming in my father-in-law's pool - it is no lake but at least I can get completely immersed !
Hope you are having a lovley long weekend !
Beach time dreams to you ....
I just need a nights sleep without waking up 84,000 times!!! I am craving sleep like crazy and the smell of salt air.....ahhhhh!
Oh yes....of course I am still swishing around in my Vivienne Westwood frock! *giggle* Wanna go suck some matches and eat some kibble? *snort*

Sherry,
You make me smile and think of my wonderful mum. All she ever says is "as long as I can see the sea" she loves it as I do.
Not sure what would make a blissful experience for me... I am not greedy... I would like to feel the sun on my skin and lie in the cool grass listening to the wild life around me....
..definitely a lot like yours ;)
but i am thinking of the Highlands too. We used to drive up to there for a couple of days to enjoy the whole year crisp and spring weather and a good break away from the city. Maybe i should do that sometime soon too.

A bath or a swim in the sea?
float in the sea- definitely, make love to it.
What a Beautifil description-I can smell it from here!
Thank you!

I've been enjoying long bike rides with my husband, topped off by lunch at some remote little restaurant downtown.

Sherry I have also been dreaming about the ocean. I swear once this chemo is over I am going away for at least a month somewhere. a place that I can walk dip my feet in just enjoy the sand running between my toes.

PS I like the new look...
I would never have thought to have a chandelier over the tub or curtains like that, isn't it soooooo inviting?
Love your new look btw :)
