It's been a long time since I've looked forward to the opening of a movie....this one is IT. Of all the actresses I can think of to portray Julia Child, there is no one that comes close to Meryl Streep.
I hope it's as funny as it looks in the trailer!

I so agree - one great woman portraying another - can't wait to see it. Hard to believe that Julia Child is no longer with us . . . and yesterday we lost Waltler Cronkite . . . now . . . who should play him in the movie?

It's so unfair, we have to wait longer in Europe for the movies to get here.
Earl and I are such big fans of Julia,(I think he was a little teeny bit in love with her). We can't wait for this movie.

I just picked up these books on a whim as I breezed through Barnes & Noble. Looks intriguing...that woman was incredible!
