Angels Among Us

Sometimes when choosing a book to read I am influenced by the cover, or by the title. In this case it was a little of both. I believe in angels and I loved this little one with wings. Don't be mislead or fooled by the title. It's not violent in any way.

I don't know of a time when I didn't believe in angels. I believe in many things that I cannot see or have never seen for myself to prove that whatever "it" is actually exists. I have faith and I take much in life on faith. Too often wonderful things happen, or disaster is avoided and I wonder who it was around me that provided that. Who was the angel. They walk among us I'm sure of that. Never knowing who it is in our midst who might be that angel, I take care to treat others with kindness, to be aware of those around me.

I was enthralled with Keith Donohue's imaginative story of Norah and Margaret, Sean, Erica and Wiley, of love and trust, faith and belief. Of what can happen when you do believe, when you leave doubt at the door. When you pay attention to the signs and messages left in your path.

Hi Sherry Lee - in answer to your question, I'm on Docetaxel (Taxotere). My pain started more than 48 hours after treatment (unfortunately on the weekend) and is still going strong on day 6. And its a bone pain, not a skin sensitive one. I'm open to any suggestions on how to deal with this better next time (I agree starting the T3's sooner is #1). Thanks.

I sooo too believe in angels and messages and signs. Guidance is all around us if we learn to pay attention.

This sounds good. I've always believed that God sends messengers and messages. Your post reminds me of the verse in the Bible that says, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it."

Another book I'm adding to my list of must-reads!

This one sounds heavenly, Miss Sherry. I too, know that we have angels among us, and I know that we sometimes have the honor of acting as angels for one another, in spite of our human-ness. You certainly have been one for me ! Next week is vacation up north - time for book reading big time - I can't wait to check out some of your recommentations !
Happy Wednesday !
