The Merry Merry Month of May...

I love the month of May. I have always loved this month, more than any other, and likely always will. Even though I've had bad news happen to me in May -- my parents separated in May when I was 15; I had a breast cancer diagnosis in May...doesn't matter and it cannot dampen or change how I feel. There is something that fills my soul about May and always fills me with hope...the flowers, the deep blue sky, the birds (the mess they leave on the windshield of my car, not so much...), the warmth of the air, the warmer breeze, even the rain. What is not to like about May? This is just a sample of what I saw in my garden the other day.

*edited to add..the flowers from top to bottom are lilacs, bleeding heart and forget-me-nots.

These flowers are just lovely and the puffy clouds floating along are so dreamy.

You have such a positive attitude and it's infectious :)

Oh, May is grand! The colors and the scents - lilacs in particular. Everything taking it's turn blooming. Green turning greener. I agree with you, May is a stellar month!

May is quite a transformational month for blooming . I saw some bleeding hearts in the flesh , for the first time while out visiting a place , and they`re so beautiful ! I know once the cherry blossoms start , many more will follow suit .
The very merry month of May !

I agree with you. There is something special about this month. The newness of the flowers and trees, animals, birds building nests and the freshness!
