A trip on the GO train from downtown to home.
The sky a pale blue with clouds of different shapes filling the sky.
Looking out the window at the boats in the harbour, the crystal reflection off Lake Ontario.
Thinking about Toronto from days gone by; how much has changed and how much remains the same.
Skyscrapers and buildings of glass.
Progress some necessary, some at what cost?
A long walk home from the train station.
Listening to the birds in full song.
Seeing grass that is turning that beautiful almost emerald green.
Realizing with the burn in my lungs and the muscles of my legs...
that it really doesn't get much better than this.

May you enjoy every second of it, Sherry Lee! It's spring, is there anything more beautiful? (I mean, besides summer, autumn and winter, excepting the cold) Have you got trilliums blooming? I miss those. Lovely picture of the harbour, I so loved Lake "Sparkling Waters"!!!
Have a wonderful day!

it really doesn't get any better...sounds so beautiful.
Just thought I'd stop by and say 'Hi' ... hope you are having a good day.
It looked like one of those appreciation days for you !
Sadly some of our local shops are closing down - in the small town we have here - due to the larger super stores where you can buy everything in one place.
That is fine in a way and convenient for most - but there is a sense of loss of community spirit and decent customer service - something which seems to be dying a death in most big stores !
What a day! We really appreciate this time of year after months of deprivation, don't we? The marvels of things growing again, that it should survive our winters, is a triumph of the spirit. Let's take notes..
