The Power Of Chocolate....

*photo originally uploaded to flickr by judi333 July 3, 2008

I was never a chocolate lover, until I had chemotherapy in 2005-06 and something changed in my chemistry. Suddenly, chocolate was something that I craved at specific times. Times like change, thinking, planning, searching for answers. I find I'll reach for chocolate in ways I never did before...it helps me think. That's my story and I'm sticking to it....now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to raid the "secret stash" ... I've some "thinking" to do...

that's funny! there is nutritional value in "dark" chocolate, unfortunately the kind I like really has no nutritional value, just lots of calories, but oh sooo good.
posting that picture is cruel :)

Welcome to the club. Who can resist chocolate?????I have always been a chocolate lover. And right now whatever that is in the picture has made me want some too. Unfortunately I'll have to go buy some. I don't keep it in the house. It wouldn't last anyway.

I keep a stash of chocolate in the fridge. (A semi-sweet chocolate bar.) Whether I nibble on it or not, I have to know it’s there. It’s a comfort thing.
And, yes, stick to your story that chocolate helps you think. Sounds good to me!

It seems that every blog I click on tonight has pictures of delicious food! And I just ate supper! lol!

Whenever I need to think I eat too ... chocolate, yes but if there isn't any available, anything sweet will do.

Lynda

Ohhhhhhhh I have always loved chocolate, only now I try to keep it to a minimum.
If you havn't tried it yet, get yourself a bar of Lindt's dark chocolate with orange in it. OMG.... I am not a dark chocolate lover like Vince, but man it is pure passion, just let it melt in your mouth :) It's even good for you, has the right amount of cocoa for those antioxidants.. woohoooooo

I too am a long term chocoholic and have no plans to conquer my addiction... why else would i get out of bed in the mornings... ;)

Chocolate is definately my thinking aid too, the darker the better... it stops you craving it so much if the cocoa content is higher, more satisfying :)

Have a yummy chocolatey day!
