Funny how being happy can require effort (albeit unconscious effort). You need the right state of mind and/or perspective to absorb the happiness - even though it often seems a spontaneous reaction.
Amen, I have found happiness is often a choice. Sometimes it is the hard choice at first, but recognizing that everyone has bad times is the first step. Nobody goes through life unscathed by problems. Choosing happiness in spite of that is the victory.

I think perfection " hits " women hard in every aspect of their lives . Home - body image work / life balance . Something has to give - being perfect will not make you happy and fulfilled , until you look and realise how insignificant and vacant you were . There are more things to life - even with the liveable flaws !
